FMA (Federación Mexicana de Atletismo), AAN (Asociación de Atletismo del Estado de Nayarit) and AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) associate, is pleased to invite to participate in THE 3rd MEDIO MARATÓN TURÍSTICO RIVIERA NAYARIT AND 10 K, all the runners of the Country and abroad.

DATE:  Saturday November 19th of 2011 at 7:00 hrs.

COST HALF MARATHON:
$ 400.00 pesos M.N. until Sunday October 3th.
$ 450.00 pesos M.N. from Monday October 4th to Friday November 12th.

COST 10 K:  
$ 350.00 pesos M.N. until Sunday October 3th.
$ 400.00 pesos M.N. from Monday October 4th to Friday November 12th.

 2) How much is the registration/entry fees?
    Registration fees until October 3th $ 400.00 pesos M.N.
    From October 4th till November 12th. $ 450.00 pesos M.N.
    *There is no race day registration for this event.

3) Is there a limit on the number of participants?
    Yes, 1,000 runners. The registration on line will be closed on Sunday October 18th.

4) Under which category do I sign up?
    Sign up under the age you will be on race day (November 13th 2009)

4) Where do I pick up my race package?
    Race numbers and packages can be picked up on Friday November12th from 11:00 to 20:00 hours; with your deposit slip or registration copy at the
    Expo” at the Host Hotel.  Please note: there is no race day package pickup.

5) Where do I pick up my race package?
    Race numbers and packages can be picked up on Saturday November 6th from 10:00 to 17:00 hours; with your deposit slip or registration copy at the
    Expo deportiva” at the Host Hotel.  Please note: there is no race day package pickup.

6) At what time the race starts?
    The race starts at 7:00 sharp Saturday, November 13th 2010.
    We recommend you to arrive at the starting area at least one hour earlier stretching and warming up to have a better performance.

7) Where could I leave my clothes and belongings on Sunday before the race?
    You may check your belongings at 5:30 AM in the wardrobe “Guardarropa”. (See the map and follow the signs.)

8) Where should I wear the race number?
    You should pin it on your shirt just below your chest; use the pins that were on your race packet.
     NOTE: Remember the race number is non-transferable, and should not be altered or modified.

9) Is there going to be a special warming area for elite runners?
    Yes, there will be. You’ll have to wear your race number on Sunday to access the warming zone, as well as during the race on Sunday.

10) What type of beverages will provide at the stations?
    There will be water and Electrolit  in 10 water stations throughout the race course:
    At kms: 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and at the finish line.
    There will be defizzed cola at kms. 10, 18, and at the finish line.

11) Is the race course safe?
    This event is affiliated to AIMS; an international organization that certifies, measures and guarantees all the events that are associated with them.

12) How do I benefit from signing up and participating in this race?

13) What will be the timing system?
     The most advanced and accurate timing product currently available on the market: “Time Ipico-sports”

14) Where could I see my official finishing time?
     You will be able to get your official time, print your certificate, and free download your photos next day after at:  www.delcorredor.com

15) Is there going to be hotel discounts for participants near the starting line?
    There are two host hotels that offer attractive packets.

    Where you’ll be able to make your reservation.

16) How do I get from the hotel to the starting line on race day?
    The host hotels will provide shuttles to take runners to the starting line; confirm at the front desk.

17) Is there going to be Carbo load the day before?
     Yes, it will be offered it on Friday the 12th,  in the host hotel.

18) Approximately what would the temperature be on the race day?
    The temperature fluctuates from  low 60’s to  high 70'°F, the morning of the race (7 a.m. to 11 a.m.); it is usually cloudy with little  chances of rain
    (scattered showers).

19) Is the course fast?
    Due to the hot and humidity conditions it is not a fast course. We recommend drinking plenty of fluids the day before

20) Is it a scenic course?
    The course is designed to enjoy the places, shadow avenues and golf courses  more representatives of the beautiful Nuevo Vallarta Resort.
